Embracing Oriental Style with Max Fashion

Hello Chicas,

Spring has finally arrived after months of dedication to velvet dresses and teddy jackets and with the new fashion season comes a fresh batch of trends to get our heads around. The things that I get most excited about the changing of the seasons are fresh colors, new prints and updated clothes. To revamp my wardrobe, I recently browsed through the newly launched Spring collection from Max Fashion and was elated seeing so many wonderful styles. Their Spring collection 2018 revolves around four themes, Work, Play, Fun and Travel. I personally love their travel themed collection, which is mostly dominated with Oriental designs, a perfect infusion of Eastern and Western fashion sensibilitiesI have created two looks for you'll featuring the collection from the travel section from Max Fashion.

Oriental inspired clothing has been weaving stories of opulence and exoticism across the runways. Oriental clothing is just not about mandarin gowns; there's much more to the trend from exotic prints and embroidery to an air of androgynous cool. I'm glad that Max Fashion is bringing back Oriental fashion with its Spring 2018 collection. From satin dresses to structured tops, the take is ornate, colorful, floral and absolutely gorgeous. Vibrant colors like golden and red are the major protagonists in this style.

Look 1

For the first look, I opted for a red satin floral robe. Last season’s sleepwear-as-daywear phenomenon focused mostly on tops, pants and slip dresses. This season the trend has made a progression into kimono-style robes. The fluid and ethereal fabric makes for a perfect travel friendly look. I have layered the robe over a black shift dress to allow easy movement while travelling. The robe can also be worn with a slogan tee and pair of cropped silk pants or shorts. I have completed the look with a pair of sleek black heels and silver loops. I channeled my inner Eastern diva by pulling my hair back into a top bun.

What to Wear to a Winter Concert

Hello Chicas,

Trying to decide what to wear to a winter concert can be a bit complicated. I mean we all want to look our best but at the same time need the outfit to be functional and protect us from the cold weather. Apart from that, the outfit also has to be comfortable enough for us to shake a leg throughout the concert.

All black everything is usually a safe bet, as are leather jackets. However, I decided to ditch the conventional layering and got inspired by the Coachella festival. The look I have created is a fusion of the current on trend items (metallic) and bohemian accessories as seen in most of the outdoor music festival. Following the trend of metallic madness, I chose a golden sheer metallic tunic from the fall winter collection of Max Fashion. I am supremely impressed with the winter collection of Max Fashion, from velvet dresses to metallic bombers, they have it all at really affordable prices.  I wore the metallic dress over a black mock neck bodysuit along with a pair of black shorts underneath. If you're in a really cold region, you can always use a pair of denim instead of shorts.

Making accessories a part of the outfit as another layer enhances the outfit rather than detracting from it. Channelizing my inner bohemian soul, I wore a lot of silver junk jewelry, a dream catcher oxidized earrings, a silver choker and some silver and golden bangles. Further, I went on to add a bowler hat and a black sling purse to complete the look. It's always a good rule of thumb to wear comfortable shoes to a concert. In the winter you want to make sure that those shoes are not only comfortable but that they are warm. I am wearing a pair of thigh high boots which not only looks fashionable but also keep my legs and feet warm.

Festive Style Guide with Max Fashion

Hello Chicas,

Festive season is around the corner and so is the fever to shop to look one's best during the celebration. As a kid, I had always loved festivals for the numerous shopping trips I took with my mother. For me, the best part about the festivities was to get all decked up to attend the Puja and later going out with friends and family for pandal hopping followed by dining at my favorite restaurant. Fast forward to 2017, nothing has changed much except for the fact that I am no more accompanied by Mom for shopping. This year I did my Pujo shopping from Max Fashion from their recently launched festive collection.

Max Fashion celebrated the advent of festive season by launching their new collection. The collection is about bringing back the rich grandeur of Indian tradition yet giving it a modern touch. Max through its ‘Tavisha’ range offers a range of stylized garments comprising classic combinations of voluminous, vibrant and layered skirts with trendy cholis or crop tops, to complete the grand look of the festive season. It is a fusion of tradition and latest trends on the block and you can buy it from your nearest Max stores or online here

From flared maxi skirt to embroidered tops their new collection is all about ethereal timeless textures and classic beauty. Once such outfit caught my eyes when I was there at the Max Fashion Store for their collection launch event. It was a gorgeous maxi skirt in maroon. The skirt was very simple with brocade detailing at the hem, however the voluminous flare made it look so royal. To style the skirt, I picked a black top with a thin strap. The top had golden detailing on it which went well with the Marsala skirt. As I was shooting on a rather sunny day, I tied my hair in a low bun and added a pair of black round sunnies to give a retro look.

I shot the outfit at the Parasnath Jain temple which is located right next to my house. This temple is some 150 years old and its construction was initiated in the year 1867 by Ray Badridas Bahadur. The interiors of the temple has been lavishly decorated with high quality mirrors, multi hued stones and glass made mosaics, while the outdoor area is surrounded with many hued flower gardens and sparkling fountains. The garden itself is decorated with blocks of glass mosaics and silver European-styled statues.  One of the major attractions of the temple is a lamp, which is burning with ghee perpetually inside the sanctum sanctorum, since the inception of the temple in 1867The whole environment of the temple radiates peace and serenity that has a very calming effect on the body and soul.

Enjoy the pictures!

Retro Rewind with Zink London

Hello Chicas,

You’ve probably heard the saying “everything old is new again.” The same can be said about design and trends. Trends and fashion statements are constantly in a flux. They change in every era and decade bringing new concepts of style to surface. This year has been all about revival of old trends, right from dramatic sleeves to colorful embroidery. 2017's most popular styles seem to be a mashup of the '70s and the early aughts, with a dash of inspiration from other decades for variety.

Zink London has launched it's Autumn Winter collection recently and I was elated to spot some classic pieces forming a part of their new launch. Positioned as a brand for the young urban woman, Zink London is the style setter and star of your wardrobe. It draws inspiration from the iconic runways of Milan, Paris, London and New York and creates exclusive work-wear and leisurewear ensembles for today’s fashion conscious woman. Whether it's vivid colors or dynamic prints, their delectable assortment of must haves is all about striking a balance between high impact and effortlessly cool. Their new launch has made me go gaga and I thought of sharing the same with you'll and created 3 looks featuring my favorite picks.

The first look is a vintage inspired trend, the dramatic sleeves. This monochrome gingham top took me back to my childhood days. Gingham is enjoying a moment this season, revamped in chic and modern silhouettes. Once associated with Picnic table cloths, this fabric has come a long way. The tiered ruffle sleeves adds up to the otherwise basic monochrome top. I have paired the top with a pinstripe wrap skirt. I think this is the first time I am wearing mismatched prints and boy I'm loving the outcome. I have accessorized the outfit with a pair of silver hoops and same black footwear.

The Self-Rescuing Princess ft. Kazo

Hello Chicas,

When I think about my childhood memories, the sweetest one which always strike my mind is that of me being in awe of the fairy tales told by my grandfather. I certainly do not remember the story line now, but I can faintly recall the vivid images of these fairies I use to form in my tiny head back then. Like any other 90's kid, I grew up watching Disney movies which have been all about adhering to traditional gender roles. A typical plot would be a princess in trouble rescued by a prince and thereafter living happily together.

Fast forward to the 21st century, long gone are the Cinderellas and Auroras, who always depended on men to get them out of trouble. Instead, we have the Elsas and Mulans, who are subconsciously instilling in young girls the idea that you are capable enough to fight your own battles and create your own happy ending without the help of a manI have nothing against these fairy tales but with changing times the fairy tales have to change. I believe life is more than a slender waist and a beautiful gown. There aren’t just slender, white girls. There are girls like you and me. We are petite, thin and fat. We are white, black and brown. I feel life is a book and we are our own characters and there is certainly no fun in waiting for a rescue team. Instead we all should work towards becoming fiercely independent women who can rescue themselves no matter how tough the situation is.

Coming to my today's self rescuing princess look, I'm wearing a gorgeous gown from the fall/winter 2017 collection of Kazo. Their theme for this year's autumn/winter collection is "La Fabia" which is am Italian term for fairy tale. Their entire range has an aura of romance, sensuality and past century nostalgia which lingers in Italy. It's a fusion of retro dandy chic with an incense of florals, geometric lines and complementing metal trims. I completely fell for the color of the gown which is in dusty pink. The beautiful pleats along with the metal trims made the gown look even more opulent and romantic. I have paired the maxi gown with an emerald green jacket which is quite an unusual color combination but it turned out to be a great one. Finished the look with winged eye liner and oxblood lips.

The Rebel Way with Max Fashion

Hello Chicas,

It's no secret that military fashion as a trend is nothing new, but the fact is that this trend keeps on updating every year, by offering us new cuts, shapes, fabrics, details and colors. Smart, sophisticated and powerful, the military trend is easy to integrate into your everyday outfits. Nowadays, army fashion is all about functionality and utility. The key elements in this trend are coats/ field jackets, tops, pants, dresses, skirts, eye-catching accessories (aviator boots, combat shoes and aviator sunglasses) and various embellishments (including leather and furs).  This trend is being seen everywhere – from street wear, to office wear, and of course, on the catwalk. It’s versatile and functional for a variety of occasions and purposes.

Coming to my outfit, I'm sporting the "Peace Army" look from Max Fashion's Pre-Autumn Collection. The military collection from Max Fashion has my heart and I had a really difficult time choosing an outfit as all of them were so amazing. From camouflage print to bold military hues, the newly launched collection has something for everyone. I picked up this shirt which can also been worn as a jacket. The quirky patchwork detailing on the shirt made it look even more fun. You can pair the shirt with a tailored pair of pants and heels for the office, and then switch to off-duty in jeans and trainers for the weekend – it will work perfectly for both. I have worn the shirt as a jacket by layering it over an ivory bodycon dress. I have paired the dress over fishnet stockings, something which I have despised all my life but I couldn't resist trying it out as they are so much in trend right now. Accessory wise, I opted for a pair of golden hoops, a grey backpack and nude block heels. A pair of clear sunglasses and boxer braids completed the look.

A Guide to Goth Look with Max Fashion

Hello Chicas,

I hope you enjoyed going through my last fusion look from Max Fashion, if you haven't checked it out yet you can do so by clicking here. Today I'm back with yet another look featuring the newly launched Pre-Autumn collection of Max Fashion. Now today's look is something which I have read about in my college and did a couple of assignments on it, but never really got to try it on myself. So I'm really glad that Max Fashion gave me the opportunity to create a Goth look from their western collection.

To most of us Gothic fashion might sound all about black clothing and heavy makeup, but in reality there are different subsets within the goth culture, each with their own unique looks, personal tastes, and musical choices. Gothic fashion is a clothing style marked by conspicuously dark, mysterious, antiquated and homogeneous features. It is worn by members of the Goth subculture. A dark, sometimes morbid fashion and style of dress, typical Gothic fashion includes a pale complexion with colored black hair, black lips and black clothes.

Goth is everything if you know how to incorporate it into your wardrobe without overdoing it. The most recognizable trait of this scene is black. Clothing is black, shoes are black, hair is black even make-up is black. However, having said that, colors do creep their way into this image. Powerful reds, alluring royal purples and emerald greens are always charming colors which accentuate and highlight curves and features. Some of the currently trending items such as fishnet stockings, velvet, lace, chokers, leather skirts and corsets forms an important part of Gothic clothing.

Coming to my look, I picked a skull print shirt which has the buttons on the back. I have paired it with a mesh tulle skirt in black. As we all know, makeup and hairdo forms an integral part of goth look and therefore I opted for dramatic smokey eyes and red lips. The space buns made the look even more edgy. I have accessorized the outfit with a pair of black combat boots and a contrasting clutch in black and yellow to break the black and white monotony.

The Banjaran Way with Max Fashion

Hello Chicas,

Max has come up with their Pre-Autumn collection and I'm totally digging their entire range. Starting from military prints to neutral hues their newly launched clothing line is to die for and screams the arrival of autumn. So when Max Fashion gave me the opportunity to create 4 looks from their Pre-Autumn collection, I was elated. I'm sharing the first look today with you all which is all about their Indo-Western collection.

I have always been a huge fan of the ethnic clothing from Max and I was super excited to create a fusion look from their collection. Their pre-autumn ethnic collection has a great variety of prints and colors ranging from Batik to thread embroidery. Embroidery is something that has been around a long time. In fact it is something that can be traced all the way back to the Iron Age of human civilization! It is believed that is was the Chinese during the Zhou Dynasty, around 1045 BC, that are credited for the more modern embroidery techniques we see today. Embroidered patterns and weaves are appearing on everything from denim jeans and jackets, to chokers, boots and those fail safe white sneakers. The embroidery trend has tons of options and today I'll be sharing a fusion look.

I have recently been wearing a lot of embroidered pieces ranging from crop tops to mini skirts. And when I came across this ivory crop top from Max with beautiful intricate embroidery in red and black I couldn't help getting my hands on it. As I wanted the embroidered crop top to be the center of attraction, I have kept the other elements of the outfit minimal by pairing it with a black palazzo and layering it with a black cape which again has this stunning embroidery. I have completed the look by adding silver jhumkis and bangles which gave a modern day banjaran feel to the look. For make-up, I opted for kohled eyes and muted lips in pink. And for the very first time I have opted for soft curls, so do let me know your thoughts on it.

Gillette Venus Breeze 2-in-1 Razor Review

Hello Chicas,

I recently shared with you all the details about the Subscribe to Smooth event hosted in Kolkata by Kalki Kamani and ace dermatologist Dr. Rashmi Shetty. We received the newly launched Gillette Venus Breeze at the event and since then I have used the razor more than a couple of times and therefore thought of sharing my views on it. Shaving has been the first hair removal tool which I had tried and I keep coming back to it every now and then when the situation demands. Shaving is one of the easiest and quickest methods of hair removal however one cannot ignore the fact how important the role of the razor is in having a safe and smooth shaving experience. I have always been a big fan of Gillette Venus razor and I was happy to see another amazing launch by the brand.

Price:
Gillette Venus Breeze Shaving Razor: INR 299
Pack of 2 cartridges: INR 350
Special Offer: Razor + 2 cartridges: INR 499
Product Description:

Now smooth skin is just a shave away! The all new Gillette Venus Breeze razor for women is the secret to a time saving shave. It is built with flexible shave gel bars and contains rich body butters for a light lather. A smooth glide that makes no need for separate shave gel or soap.
• 3 Spring-mounted blades with telomer coating with shower storage.
• Gives a smooth and silky shave
• This razor is gentle on the skin
• Easy to use and convenient to carry

My experience with Gillette Venus Breeze Razor:

I was pretty impressed with the packaging. The Gillette Venus Breeze 2-in-1 Razor comes in a pretty transparent plastic box. The front part has some violet floral print, whereas the other side has a nice plastic tray, which contains one razor and one cartridge. The cartridge comes in a small plastic box which can be used as a cap. The translucent lavender body done in rubber provides an easy grip making the shaving experience even more pleasant. One has to attach the cartridge to the clip like part on the top of the razor. The cartridge contains two shaving gel bars which has a very pleasant floral fragrance.
Gillette Venus Breeze 2 in 1 Razor glides on quickly and smoothly on the skin. And the built-in shaving gel bars create a light lather which helps to make the shaving process quicker. The best time to use this razor is during the bath, otherwise the shaving process can get a little messy. The razor head has 3 blades in it and they are sharp enough to give a smooth shave without causing any cuts. Also, the razor has a user-friendly curved body & head, which helps to reach the curved areas easily. Since it's a 2-in-1 razor Gillette claims that you don't need to use any soap/ foam for shaving and to my surprise the gel bars lathered easily after dampening the razor. The triple blades ensure a close shave and successfully eliminates even the tiniest hair. The quantity of the gel bars is sufficient and they do not melt easily. Overall, the experience of shaving with Gillette Venus Breeze was wonderful. I was really satisfied with its performance, one stroke removed all the hair making my skin soft. There wasn't any irritation or scratches after shaving and the lather created by gel bars hydrated my skin well.

Pros of Gillette Venus Breeze Razor:

  • Attractive packaging
  • Travel friendly
  • Easy to use
  • Comes with two shaving gel bars attached to the blades eliminating the need of using shaving cream/soap
  • Provides smooth and silky shave
  • Feels gentle on the skin
  • Flexible razor head glides easily to curved areas
  • Skin doesn’t feel dry/itchy post shaving
  • Pocket friendly
Cons of Gillette Venus Breeze Razor:
  • Gel bars remains damp post shave and needs to be kept in a dry place vertically
  • The gel bars may wear down before the blades loose its sharpness.
Would I recommend Gillette Venus Breeze Razor:

I would highly recommend you all to try out Gillette Venus Breeze for a quick, safe and easy shaving experience. And I would definitely be repurchasing the cartilages for future use.

My Rating:
4.5/5

New Hawker's Hall Menu at Mamagoto

Hello Chicas,

Being an ardent lover of Pan Asian cuisines, I was super excited when I received an invitation from Mamagoto to try out their newly launched Hawker's menu. Pan Asian cuisines are known to have a lot of different flavors reflecting the broad diversity of numerous cultures within Asia. The vibrant colors combined with the depth of flavor is something which I love about Pan Asian cuisines.

Hawker's menu as the name suggests, is the cuisine which has been picked from the streets of Thailand, China, Indonesia and Malaysia all in a single menu. The traditional recipes of Pan Asian cuisines have been given Mamagoto's signature twist. The menu has a good mix of 10 dishes of different Asian cuisines. As we entered the restaurant, we couldn't help stopping by in awe of the quirky decor and the play of colors. They don't only bring their signature twist to the dishes, but also to the decor of the restaurant.

Coming to the food, we started off with mocktails, which are already there on the permanent menu of Mamagoto. I tried the Kiwi Mint Collins and Cranberry Kaffin Lime Punch. Both of them were very refreshing, but if I had to pick one, I would go with the Cranberry one as I love berry flavors. Both the mocktails are priced at INR 229.

Next came in one of the most epic dishes, Thai Puchka. The puchkas were on a bed of grounded peanuts and stuffed with betel leaf. There were hints of  coconut, tamarind and ginger. The platter consists of 6 puchkas and for a person like me being a huge puchka fan, I wouldn't share it with anyone. Priced at INR 219. The puchkas were followed by Rice Pancake with Chicken another favorite dish of mine. The pancake was filled with minced chicken and veggies and was accompanied by lip-smacking apple and mint sauce. The rice pancake comes in a generous quantity and can be easily shared between two people. Priced at INR 249. Now coming to my favorite dish from the Hawker's menu Mekong Boat Chicken Curry, it tasted absolutely smashing. It has a peanut based chicken curry along with broccoli and is served with rice noodle nests. I am still salivating while describing the dish. The whole dish beamed with all the right flavors and I'm definitely going back for this one. Priced at INR 429. Bibimap is another wholesome dish which is basically a platter of sticky sesame rice accompanied with sauteed seasonal vegetables and meat keema. I really liked the way this particular dish was presented. Priced at INR 539. Lastly, I tried the vegetarian Garlicky Noodles which were served with broccoli and burnt garlic. Again, the flavor was too good and the dish tasted like an authentic Chinese one. Priced at INR 349. Finally coming to my favorite part of meals, dessert, there were two spectacular dishes served to us. One was Home Made "American Style" Chunky Caramel Cake served with warm Toffee Sauce and Ice-cream and the other one was Choco Walnut Fudge with a scoop of Ice-cream. Both of them were absolutely delicious. I particularly loved the divine toffee sauce served with the caramel cake.

Coning to my look, I wore a monochrome outfit, I don't know why I have been doing monochrome so much these days. I paired a basic round neck ripped tee with a drawstring black skirt. The skirt has a really sexy mesh detailing at the hem. Again, to add some colors I opted for a pair of candy stripes pump.

A walk into the woods

Hello Chicas,

After playing around with summer colors and prints for quite a while now, I thought of taking a break from the floral madness and opt for something different. Recently I came across the newly launched "Unleash Your Wild Side" collection by The Label Life in collaboration with Magnum India. I was completely floored by the idea of amalgamation between ice-cream and couture. The entire collection of clothing and accessories is inspired by Magnum's colors which includes brown, white and gold. Adding to the bold colors are the feisty motifs and prints inspired by animals.

Being a sucker for all things retro, I went ahead and bought a brown animal print scarf which I feel is such a classy and versatile piece. This time I have updated an off shoulder dress by layering it with the scarf casually. Due to the hot and humid weather I didn't do anything fancy with the scarf, just threw it casually over the off-shoulder dress which ended up giving a cold shoulder look. For those of you who are not very comfortable going bare shoulder, a scarf is the perfect accessory to play around. Overall, I really liked the color palette of the look, the brown animal print blended with sea green beautifully. I didn't want to add any pop of color this time and therefore opted for neutral accessories, a pair of grey mules and a black handbag.

Project Melange

Hello Chicas,

Hope you all are doing good. I have been super busy these days, working on a few projects for my blog and juggling with numerous interviews for the upcoming summer internship. Speaking of summers, I'm having a really tough time shooting the outfits and I'm badly longing for a vacation in the hills.

Recently for one of my college assignments, I had to create a Lookbook with the theme textile. Having not much traditional items in my closet to recreate the look, I thought of coming up with a fusion getup instead. While hunting for the outfits, I came across this mustard yellow dress from KAZO which I had bought last year, but never wore it as I found the length of the dress quite unflattering on my petite body. So, this time I thought of wearing the dress over pants and that's when one of my recent buys, a pair of printed palazzo pants came to the rescue. These ajrakh printed flared pants in navy complimented the mustard dress beautifully. For accessorizing, I went for a red bindi and a pair of pearl earrings which I purchased from an exhibition put up by the students of Sawansukha Jewellers Institiute. Furthermore, the maroon studded sling and black pumps added a touch of modern appeal to the look.

Not-so-basic, Basics!

Hello Chicas,

When it comes to closet staples like blue jeans and a white tee, being basic isn't a bad thing. After all what could we have possibly done had every single piece of clothing in our closet been a show-stopper. Basic items of clothing gives us an opportunity to wear them a hundred times in various ways. Lately, I have started incorporating a lot of basic clothing in my wardrobe as not only the current weather demands so but also they are so versatile.

There's something about summers that makes the white tee a wardrobe essential. Whether it's for pairing it up with a loud statement bottoms or going casual with basic overalls, this incredible staple piece creates possibility of putting together innumerable different look.

Coming to my outfit, I have paired a slouchy white tee with a star print denim. I recently bought this pair of boyfriend jeans from Boohoo and I'm already in love with it. To elevate the look, I have added a charcoal grey bralette. Bralette is one of the hottest trend this season and so is the subtly exposed bra look. As the tee was a little slouchy, I have worn it in a one shoulder fashion in order to give a sneak peek to the bralette. For accessorizing the look, I have opted for a black sling bag and open toed block heels in the same color.

Stepping out with Instax Mini 8

Hello Chicas,

If you are following me on my social media channels, you must be knowing that I attended a bloggers' meet a few weeks back organized by Fujifilm India. And there we were introduced to their recent launch Instax mini 8 camera with various combo offers designed for special occasions. Retro is trending right now, whether it's the retro filters on Instagram or the various photo editing apps giving a vintage vibe to the pictures. Amidst all this, Fujifilm has also made an effort to bring back the retro feel to cameras with their latest launch of Instax camera. Instant photo system “instax” allows people to enjoy photos that are taken and printed immediately. It enables users to create photos that are unique, instant, and remain with them forever.

The entire range consists of:
Mini 8 Joy Box
Mini 8
Instax Hello Kitty
Neo Classic Mini 90
Mini 70
Wide 300

About the Camera Instax Mini8:

After the event, we were gifted the Instax mini 8 Bundle pack which consists of the Instax Mini 8 camera, 2 X Twin Filmpack (40 shots), Fancy Stickers and Bunting. The MRP of the Instax Mini 8 Bundle pack is INR 8633 however, it's available online at a discounted price of INR 5999. Instax is available in seven different, cheerful colors namely Raspberry, Grape, White, Pink, Blue, Yellow and Black. I was lucky enough to receive the color, pristine white on which I had my eyes on.
As the name suggests, it is a cute and compact camera that pushes out photos instantly. The retro bit is not only limited to the camera type, the photos too have a rather retro look to them. The camera is not heavy, but feels strong enough. It runs on two double AA batteries and you need to purchase a separate special film pack. To take a picture, just like old camera you look inside the eyepiece, captures the subject and click. Instantly a white film comes out from the top of the camera and within a minute or two, the photo starts developing and in another four to five minutes it takes its final form. The Mini 8 takes the films of the size of a credit/debit card and a pack of films have a maximum of 10, so make sure you use them wisely. You can buy them online at a price of Rs. 1020 for a pack of 20 films. The plus point of Instax mini 8 is definitely the easy functioning and set-up. Also the pictures have this Instragram-filter quality, which I really liked.

My verdict:

If you are tired of the mundane photography I would suggest you to get your hands on these. The camera brings the memories of old-school photography back. The compact size and the easy functionality is perfectly suitable for clicking pictures while travelling or at a get together with your friends and family. Also, it makes for such an awesome gift for your loved ones. The picture quality might not be anything close to the trending Dslrs, but the pictures clicked from it will bound to bring a smile on your face.

What I wore:

For my first outing with Instax Mini 8, I chose to wear a comfortable yet feminine outfit. I have paired a denim mini skirt which has this grid pattern on it with a peplum top. The pastel pink and grey stripes along with ruffled sleeves and waistline lends a feminine and retro touch to the outfit. Accessory wise, I have opted for a pair of black gladiators, studded sling bag and last but not the least the very cute Instax Mini 8.
