Hello Chicas,
Today's post is about slip dress which originated during the 90's and was made famous by supermodels like Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell.
Slip dresses are the so called lingerie inspired clothing which one can wear outside their bedroom. They usually come in plunging v-neckline with spaghetti straps. Lacy hems coupled with silk muslin silhouette make it look like a sensuous night wear. I opted for a casual cut out slip dress sans the lace detailing. The lime color screams summer and the vented neckline provides such a relief from hot sunny days. Slip dresses come in a variety of lengths ranging from mini to midi ones. For those who are a little apprehensive about trying out this teeny tiny dress, worry not as they can be worn in following different ways for a more reserved look:

- Pair it up with a basic tee or a shirt underneath for a casual day look.
- Add a pair of sneakers to tone down the sexiness of the slip dress.
- Layer it up with a denim jacket or a long line shrug during cooler days.
- Add a structured blazer to balance the flowy silhouette of the dress.
- Lastly, if you have tried the above ways of wearing them, embrace them as it is and own the look.
